A Drunk Chennai Man Drives Ambulance Home, Leaves His Audi Outside Hospital
In a peculiar yet funny incident, a drunk Chennai based businessman drove away the hospital’s ambulance instead of his Audi. He was so drunk that he forgot to take his fancy car parked outside the hospital.
He drove the Maruti Omni to his home which was 13 kms away from the hospital and did not realize that he is driving an ambulance until he reached home. When ambulance was found missing hospital staff suspected it to be a theft and informed the police.
What Happened Next?
A team from nearby night patrol reached the hospital and started making inquiries. Just then, they saw a man driving back the ambulance into the hospital gate. He was the driver of the businessman and said that his boss, businessman, had by mistake driven it home.
Later after inspection, it was known that the businessman had come to the hospital to drop his friend, who is said to have suffered injuries. By mistake, he drove off the ambulance and realized it only when he was asked about the Audi at home.
